PETA India has once again revealed the cruelty that’s inherent to the egg and meat industries. Workers routinely kill male chicks and other unwanted birds through grisly methods like suffocation, grinding, drowning, burning, and even feeding them to dogs or fish. Females are mutilated and forced to lay countless eggs until their bodies wear out and they, too, are killed.
