It’s a common sight in India – a bullock trudging along in the heat, straining under a heavy yoke to pull an overloaded, poorly balanced cart. These gentle animals often suffer from dehydration, untreated sores and muscle strain and even endure beatings.

Since 2003, Animal Rahat has been giving relief to these and other animals. The programme is run by a dedicated staff of veterinarians and their assistants as well as animal caretakers and a full-time community educator.

Bullocks, donkeys, ponies and horses need caring people like you. Please donate to PETA and its projects supporting Animal Rahat today!
